A Program of the NYU Dentistry Center for Oral Health Policy and Management

Students are invited to apply for this competitive program, which trains students in leadership, advocacy, and public speaking. Participants prepare and deliver testimony on a health policy topic before a mock congressional panel. Designed to train students in leadership advocacy and public speaking, the program requires participants to prepare and deliver testimony on a health policy topic before a mock congressional leadership panel composed of faculty participants, before an audience of guests from across the NYU Dentistry community.

Apply to join us on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm by completing the application below.

Please complete the series of questions that follow. In addition, please be prepared to upload a copy of a resume that includes any leadership and involvement and/or advocacy experiences you have had in high school, college, or graduate school, during employment, with community organizations, in the military, or in other settings.

The application deadline is Monday, December 1, 2025 at 11:59pm EST.
