NYU Dentistry Global Health Care Leaders: Florence, Italy 
"From the Velvet Revolution to Health Equity: Using Dissent and Hope to Reframe Oral Health Care"

The NYU Dentistry Global Health Care Leaders program is a unique professional development visiting experience based out of the College’s Center for Oral Health Policy and Management, as part of their mission to cultivate adaptive leaders who are prepared to perform in uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environments in the future. A group of DDS students in the Class of 2026 will be selected for the opportunity to travel to the NYU Global Academic Center in Florence, Italy, and engage with governmental, professional, and industry leaders to explore complex issues comparing dentistry as it is practiced, financed, and regulated in the United States and Europe.

Please complete the series of questions that follow. In addition, please be prepared to upload a copy of your resume that includes any leadership and involvement and/or advocacy experiences you have had in high school, college, or graduate school, during employment, with community organizations, in the military, or in other settings.

Eligibility requires that students must be in good academic standing, have no course failures or remediation, and have not been found responsible for violations of the NYU Dentistry Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

The application deadline is Friday, April 11th at 11:59pm.
